The Ballet of the Brushes

Well having enjoyed listening to some of "The Warning" earlier today on @chrisgoodone's advice I (nearly) finished up the Ghouls whilst enjoying Halestorm on in the background which is who I was thinking The Warning had some echos of which is probably one reason (other than them being rather good) I enjoyed them.
Good spot Eric and glad you enjoyed it, they supported Halestorm recently (and have supported GnR, Muse, Foo Fighters and others) Lizzie Hale gifted Dani a guitar in a live set a while back (on the YouTubes and worth a watch).

I'm sure people know Bryan May is a bit of an Oldhammerer - we bumped in to him on several occasions in our mid teens in the Hammersmith GW shop we had to take a trek to.

On the subject of Varg, have any of you seen his role-playing game?
Oh my, yes. and I caught myself thinking 'aaand just after writing this, he got up, put a bucket on his head and sped off into the sunset on his daughter's tiny pink dirtbike, as is his wont.
Sometimes it's just fun watching some artist just go completely off the rails. I can't wonder 'how mad does he wont to get still?`without enjoying myself, I can't help it. Varg was hilarious the same way e.g. Kanye West is today.

Aye that's her.

And don't think I'll be picking her up off eBay, I'll proxy her in with a historical mini, don't have 100 quid to throw at one model. Shame, I'd love to give her a tickle with the brushes.

I didn't know they did a figure ^_^ must have missed that one. Might have to keep an eye out. Though I'm sure other companies have done them.

yeah.. £100 is... yikes.. some people to make a comment that it's pretty interest for a brit (from the south east no less) to have a French hero like her ^_^

Oh, now we are forming an Oldhammer band. I would contribute the bass part. Not that I am actually good, or anything.

I've always had this dream of forming a real balls-to-the-wall metal band with no equipment. The concept is attending shows and festivals where other, lesser (and of course shittier) bands are. And just when some talentless sell-outs have startet their gig, our band would board the stage, kick the hags off it and use their instruments and equipment to play a set of real metal.
I mean, just think of the underground appeal. The raw antagonism of it - and having to play 'uphill' all the time would make our band so great , there's no better practice. I mean, your audience has paid good money to see another, lesser band, they've just witnessd you kicking those sods offstage and now there's only the music to win these very angry and disgruntled people over.
And consider the viral marketing aspect! No-one knows where the hrbingers of trve metal will strike next, which shitty band will get upstaged next, there'll be rumours and vague hints,.. really, it would be so great, like norse raiders of metal
