The Ballet of the Brushes

My ex got into warhammer, she likes painting and lore but playing didn't interest her.

She's deadly on darktide though, better than I am but I'm never admitting it.

Finally a post BOYL brush has been lifted (that isn't a 1" or larger one) and a small amount of work on my Ghouls has been undertaken, for acoustic accompaniment I opted for a little Canadian music and the vocal delights of Sara "Chibi" Taylor and The Birthday Massacre. That seemed suitable for painting the Undead tonight.
Always is a great tune but Pins and Needles is a banger.

Tonight's been a Faith no More and Black Widow kinda night.

I was right in front of the speakers the whole time at a Saxon (well, Graham Oliver' Saxon.. at the time when they had spilt and kinda two groups using the name) concert ^_^ at College the next day my ears were still ringing.

Watain were fun when I saw them at Bloodstock, being covered in pigs blood for the next 2 days wasn't as fun.

We need an oldhammer metal band.

METAAAAALLLLL!!!!!!!!

Well, there's Bolt Thrower..... Perhaps best forgotten. And I'd rather not think about D-Rok.

I have heard of a modern Oldhammery band called Warp Stormer, seen their t-shirts repped at BOYL. I've listened to their self-titled album a couple of times and I hope they wouldn't mind me saying, it's nothing ground-breaking, but it's not at all bad.

I'm a fan of 70s stuff - Led Zep, Deep Purple, doors, Hendrix etc... But also the clasics like Kate Bush, Massive Attack, Bjork, Sia etc... normally have that on the YouTubes when I'm painting but like the idea of podcasts n talks.
Currently infatuated by The Warning (thank me later)
