Taliesin's Table

Love the expression on the giant, excellent work and nice base. Sorry to hear about the tough time, but glad to see you back on the projects!

Well, here's a nice photo of a chaos warband. This isn't generated as-per Realm of Chaos, but I'd like to add a warband generated that way at some point. This army combines the unit of chaos warriors/marauders led by the Pale Prince, champion of the duelling circles of horvenghaast, as well as a unit of thugs composed of Khorne-worshipping Norsemen. There's also the giant I posted recently, and this glorious Balrog / Bloodthirster / Demon Prince that I just recently finished up. Definitely one of my favourite citadel figures ever.

The point of throwing this small army together was just to have a playable force for small games under most systems. This is about 1000 points in 3rd edition by way of Warhammer Armies, 1000 points for The Old World, 750 points for One Page Rules: Regiments, and 3000 points for Hobgoblin, which are more-or-less all the rank-and-file fantasy games I'm ever likely to play.

Now I just need to finish another one... Empire?

Amazing. Possibly the best painted Chaos army I've ever seen, and I've seen more than the average person needs to see in a lifetime. Id love to see you do a converted RoC army using those endless charts.

Couple of mini's in there I had as a kid, gutted I don't have them any more. Lost a lot of stuff over the years.

I've just thought that some of you might be interested in my last blog post, which was a setting run-down for the Rogue Trader campaign that I'm running as GM for friends in my gaming group. My blog is run on neocities using dodgy html, which means it doesn't have an RSS feed function and I can't add it to the forum's automatic blogroll, but if it's alright with mods I'd like to put links in here!

Quite happy with the setting and the potential for scenarios. The intention isn't to fight out any big battles between any of the major forces described, that war will be a backdrop to smaller skirmish games focused on black ops and secret missions with more esoteric or mercenary objectives.

unrelated.. wasn't Neocities the rubbish ripp-off of Geocities? ah.. I think my first site was hosted on Geocities... brings back memories.. It still going? wow..
Oh and you start with a classic Les Edwards... can't complain there ^_^
