I really like the variety you managed to give to those miniatures. The body colours and the details like shields made from different boards really help to give indiciduality to each while keeping them tied by the same approach. Definitely the most efficient way to paint for an army. They look really great! How much left now?

Thanks for the words of praise gentlemen, much appreciated; as for how much more to go - way too much, I set myself a target which in hind-sight was way too ambitious, especially as I'm still adding to my list of stuff to do (just added another 15 Lizardmen, Cold-one riders! Do I strip em or leave them until after the event, as their acceptable painted, for now?) but, if I don't aim high, I wouldn't do half the things I plan to do.
These things are a joy to paint, and as you say the little things make the difference, but the similarities bind them together. 8-)
I just don't have enough time to do these, make terrain and play with my other stuff as well, in conjunction with all the other stuff - arghh! :?

I'll keep posting as things move along, so watch this space right up to August.

Oh and here's a few picture of the stuff I picked up at Salute - surprising what you can do with a few fish tank toys, resin, sand and all suitably painted. Still need a few final touches but you get the general idea.

Smashing stuff. The old cold ones look rather animated en masse, I think I have only ever seen them singly before. Love the colourful snakemen also.

The mushrooms are great.
I have some bases of aquarium plants I can finish off for you if you need more similar jungle scenery.
I also have the jungle pyramids if you want one (or two).

I fancy the amazons and the Norse of skeggi may need a run out to see if they can get across the table.

It was great fun last time.

Thanks for the vote of confidence guy's, Any offers of help with the terrain most gratefully accepted as the prospect of painting another pond/ swamp really isn't making me warm & fuzzy inside; next items already on the table waiting to be flocked!

See you there people

That's a good 'un Steve

Loving the terrain Paul - if you like I can lend you a couple of small ruined temples and a large stone head. Still haven't gotten round to chopping my aquarium plants up so can't help you there I'm afraid.
