Just put this up today. Only for plastics (bloodbowl), it's a bit cheap and shoddy. Doesn't fit square so the glass door has a gap, I'm going to have to prop it up on a matchstick. Got what I paid for really.

If I dismantled the whole thing I could trim a few mm off the top board. Fortunately the back is screwed on rather than panel pinned. I'm hoping to put LED strips in it at some point, so will wait til then I think. Repeatedly removing and replacing screws in chipboard tends to be disastrous as they all come loose

true.
When I was doing conservation work and some bits like handrails and stuff, the term for any minor imperfections was 'Rustic' ^_^
of course, these days I think that almost means 'we can charge twice the price.'

The main issue will be whether I can trim the top board down and still use the same wall plugs. It's the real pain of it only being a few mm out, can't get a new plug in the wall without a lot of bother or changing the height.

Oh.. I really know it.. when you drill the hole after carefully measured it all up only to find out there isn't quite enough leeway for it to fit, and if you try to redrill the hole, you now have a hole WAY too big and loose.. and then get all worked up and end up having to give it up for a while to calm down.. though there are other reasons for that ^_^ but yeah, if you keep making mistakes you are more prone to even more mistakes which just screw everything up. sometimes, not worth the effort.

specially when you could just add a decorative trim ^_^
