Looking for spanish people who are willing to play any old wargame edition: Warhammer and warhammer 40k, space marine epic, blood bowl...etc

Me gustaría poder encontrar oldhammeros de españa, especialmente al sur, que tengan ganas de echar alguna partida a cualquiera de los juegos clásicos, desde Warhammer hasta Epic oSpace Fleet.
Dejar los datos y con los juegos y ejércitos que jugais para poder contactar.

Let's not head off into the politics of real world regions please - let's keep our own discussions to the trials and tribulations of the Old World's border princes if we want to wade into such matters!

As to our Spanish members - whilst it is massively out of date when we started hosting the forum I did move over the old opponent finder. At some point I will do a modern version integrated into the forum, but until that mythical day of legend comes you could give the half dozen Spanish pins a poke: https://opponentfinder.oldhammer.org.uk/

Thank you, Eric. There's only 2 people, one 500 km away, the other one almost 800.
It will be faster if I brainwash some friends :mrgreen:

There are moments when I look at the pile of (more conventional-ish) board games I have acquired over the years in the eternal optimism that the rest of my family will suddenly develop an incomprehensible love of games suddenly! There are a few other old hammer people not a million miles from where I live and to be fair I've never asked around at the local gaming store (which does have tables you can rent). Time as ever is my main enemy as regards playing games, possibly even harder to conquer than distance.

My suggestion would be - assuming you might be able to round up some victims friends and write a short scenario based game using whatever edition you want - see if you can get anyone interested that way. I'd probably GM it and see if they take the bait. If they do perhaps one or more might enjoy doing it more regularly?

If there are any gaming clubs nearby then rather than exactly pitching it as "playing the old version" (I'm going to assume they might well be playing Age of Sigmar, Old World or 40k - whatever edition we're up to) make it more about the scenario and have it more as a "self contained game with it's own rules". With a bit of luck the character of the models might work their magic.

There isn't a nice way in the UI to search based on the Location text field in user's profiles. It's a free text field - so you can write whatever witticism you want in there. However doing a quick query on the database gives me a few mentioning Spain ... given it's a public field (well public to our members) I don't see the harm in doing a search against it ... so you might want to try nudging them to see if anyone is still active in your part of the world. You never know?
