Hello , after seeing how well acepted the Space Minotaur was , I'm wondering if a cool looking Space Troll can be an option for you guys...
Imagine it , a big guy , stupid/evil looking , big nose and ears , retro/futuristic equipment , cool rude weapon....

I really want to sculpt it , but it will need many time , so I preffer to go for something sure before starting...

I really like the style of the old Bob Olley Trolls for Blood Bowl, what do you think?

2 ideas :

- Adeptus mechanicus trolls with cyber brains, th eaim is to basically use that monstrous force and renegerative capability with added intelligence

- Ork support : Think trolls equipped with salvaged armour (shoulder pads made from old tires and huge wrenches as clubs, they would be combat support for the orks. You can also consider piloting them with gretchin (think of a big wire leading to a remote control controlle dby a goblin or a Dok/mekaniak operating said remote control)
You could even add big guns on sponsons and fired by gretchin on their back.

One thing thoug, I owuldn't want space troll to have any sort of firing weapon, let's not make a new Ogryn wannabe, they have to have their own character which lies a lot in their stupidity and regenaration.

Also what about something small, say... A couple of caryatids so talentless people like me can have these buggers in my confrontation gangs

/edit: trolls were a part of chaos armies in epic. I do like the idea about a mechanicus cyborg troll though

But come on ! Poor Diego is trying to get some intel about weither you want a space troll or not for Malal's sake !

My option would be a troll armoured in junk with a huge two handed weapon (big wrench or something) a leather smith's tabard and alternate heads to either represent an adùech from, or an IG one or an ork one. Imagine one with a silly IG helmet one with a big cyber brain (think semi-spheric glass displaying a human brain and bionic eyes and one made of tin bits with a silly antenna with an ork piloting or a gretchin controlling from shoulder with a wire or joystick...

Really. I have actually been thinking previously of getting some commisioned.

What I REALLY would love to see was something like the 2nd edition Blood Bowl trolls, with ragtag slug throwers and just a bit cybered up on the equipment/implants,.

Stuff like the guys below. With power fists and such.

The idea of a Troll looks appealing to me, but I agree, I'd like that if it was not just a kinda-of-Ogryn. But seriously man, do you really have time to sculpt and produce all the projects you are in?? I'm amazed!!

Well....not , but I'm trying... ;)

The Troll ideas are a BIG temptation for me as sculptor :roll:
