The barbarian is a little 'generic', but then again, it's hard to deviate much from the Conan look.
But I certainly want that Necro and Minotaur. The necro in particular is absolutely charming.
Will they be available to buy in the future?

Technically, they look great. They're not really my style, but they look good. I do really like the accessories though!

I'd buy that minotaur and most of the accessories, for sure. The others don't float my boat, aesthetically, but that Boris of yours can certainly push putty!

Hi Aiteal,

Thanks for your comments ! We´ll put the minis in the world wide market in the last quarter of 2014.

Cheers

Same as the others, The mino is great !
The barbarian is too "common", it is a similar pose as the Avatars of wars one and though it may be hard to go too far from the Conan influence, I'm sure there are ways to make original barabrians. That Said, give im some clothes and a beard or anything to make him a little less "generic" ad he could be great.
The girl is very good and the necromancer is very characterful.
The sculpting skills are definitely here so all we can say is just about personnal tastes, I hope it helps you.

Thanks for the comments ! Our idea is enter in the international market with a lot of minis and our skirmish game, and we are ready to hear all commnets as possible.

In that case, I would suggest you give more "character" to your heroes, there are a lot of companies releasing a lot of generic barbarians, wizards etc... If I am to open my wallet it is likely to be for some of the old models that made me fall in love with this hobby or for something I've never seen anywhere else. For other projects, I'll probably think "Wow, That's cool but will then look away..."
I hope you get what I'm trying to say here, the stuff is good, I just think to make it stand from the rest, it probably needs a little something more.

You also have to consider this forum is strongly biased towards oldschool references even though most of us will agree on good looking figures.

The Necromancer is the best of the bunch for me, then the accessories. The other models are just not to my taste, they are well realized sculpts though and will certainly be to others tastes. The barbarians look more like cosplayers to me than my vision of actual barbarians, I find the choice of attire to be what I expect to see at a contemporary costume party  .

God luck with the launch!

Guys,

Thanks a lot for all feedbacks ! It´s very important for us your opinions and directions. Let´s work hard now !

Seeing as you're in the stage you're in - I wonder if you shouldn't explore wild alternatives? I agree with everyone that your sculpting is there - the figures technically fantastic. Personally I very much like the minotaur and I prefer the dimensions of the barbarian compared to some of the steroid babies out there.

But the point I'm making with the wildly different thing would be to turn the traditional offerings on their heads a little. What about a minotaur necromancer? Or a barbarian with a bow? Even a well dressed steroid baby. Female minotaurs? That sort of thing. I think there is a place where you can distinguish your models.

I hope that helps - and well done!

I pretty much agree with the others on here. FWIW, my opinions are:

  • Minotaur - Sculpt is really nice, but the swords are disproportionate and silly
Barbarian (Male) - Yawn! Too much like this already available
Barbarian (Female) - Sculpt doesn't look as good as the others + generic
Scenery - Nice! I'm starting want more in the scenery department, as I am enjoying small scale narrative games more these days
Necromancer - TAKE MY MONEY NOW!!!!! Such character. Such a dynamic pose. Such a defined sculpt!

The proportions on the barbarian are bothering me, the hips seem off (perhaps too wide in proportion) and the shoulders don't seem quite right either. Hope that helps.

The female barbarians eyes look either a bit small or too far apart to me not sure which (but its still 1,000,000 times better than anything I could hope to do).

The rest is awesome so make sure to let us all know when its available (hopefully in metal too).
