Skeleton Horde painted

Good stuff, you can't beat a horde of skeletons. I still recall a friend's older brother's board when I was just starting to get interested in the hobby and he'd laid it out with what seemed like hundreds of skeletons (I suspect I may be touch rose tinted now with age) and I was so taken with needing an undead army.

Loving the Mighty Fortress in the background. I think you've done yourself proud on that unit.

If you want to embed directly off imgbb you can - you can either construct the embed code yourself (see https://www.phpbb.com/community/help/bbcode#f5r0) or imgbb provide some quick copy and paste options. If you see the "Embed codes" section under your images, and scroll down to find the BBCode bits. The first one will embed the full size image into the board post, the second one will embed a thumbnail thus:

Which when clicked will take you to the imgbb URL.

Thanks for the kind words and info on imgbb. I did not know you could do that :)

I think for the next unit I will go a little more "whiter" to get that oldhammer effect.
Regards,

Gotta love the old Skeleton horde. Its the second box set I bought (first was Ugezod's Death Commandoes) but the first one I actually finished.

Your skeletons look great and I am thinking I might need to get some more...

Thanks @Malacassa,
Wow.. yeah The skeleton horde was my first and the Nightmare legion the second. Stay tuned for pictures. I've been trying to get my painting skills up little to then move onto that unit. I've got Nagash but holding out to paint that one until I get better. Please post some photos of yours. I dont know the Ugezod's Death Commandoes. Send pics too.

Regards,

The first lot I bought were mid eighties and came with square 25mm slotta bases.

The 2nd lot on the blog, bought on line came with round bases and I decided to stick with that. I will get around to buying a movement tray to finish them off.
