I mentioned in an earlier post that planned to put them on bigger bases and checked with @Scalene and the FB Group where the game is being organised that no-one was precious about sizes too. Fortunately this is a BOYL Oldhammer game and not a super competitive tournament, so nobody gives a fig.
The captain model specifically over shot the old 25mm round base with his wide cowboy stance and the bigger bases allow me a bit more space to model their scenic rocky bases which helps elevate them a little and evoke the Sibbick artwork.

Come on now, if you're going for weird, at least make it an isocellated heptagon!
(And mixing your Greek and Latin rooted words together ManicMan, of all the people I'd expect that from, it wouldn't be you 😉)
 
^_^ for some reason, I'm not a big fan of Greek. Septagon has a much better sound to it then Heptagon. Heptagon sounds like 60s-70s slang for a stereotype street informer gang.

that said.. mm.. something like Septagonum I think would be just in Latin. root being greek either way
 
Hi all, sorry I haven’t checked in here for a while. To update on what’s happening, I’ve got two tables all weekend, and I’m thinking we can easily accommodate two players per side on each. That gives capacity for at least 8 players with 2 games per day on Friday and Saturday and one larger one on Sunday. Effectively at least 40 player slots so there will be room for you to play as much as you want. It would be helpful if I have at least some indication of when you would like to play and those that book will get precedence, so please do let me know if you are interested. The scenarios won’t be fully pre-planned - they will arise out of the locations and forces on the campaign map. You can bring a squad but you don’t need to, we will have enough without. Also I have been making RTB01 style STLs including the badges Meredith showed. If you would like them then let me know.
