RT Eldar and Jade Battle Wizard

The first citadel miniatures I've painted since I used to play RT in the early 90s...

An early Eldar champion figure inspired by the RT Eldar painted by Dave Perry shown on the Eldritch Epistles blog:

A mounted Empire Jade battle wizard:

I really liked the 3rd/4th ed. Empire figures when they first appeared but could never afford to collect them at the same time as 40k stuff; it's nice to have found so many are still around on ebay etc.

Thanks for looking

You obviously haven't lost your painting skills. I particularly like the way the Eldar turned out. He's also a very nice model, with the helmet being an interesting twist on the classic shape.

They are both nice paint jobs.

I like the eldar especially. The colour choice works well, and the gems add a nice bit of brightness to it.

Thanks for the positive comments. Since the 40k stuff I did years ago and these recent figures I have painted a fair number of (mainly historical) figures. In the meantime I'd forgotten how nice a lot of the Citadel figures from this era were to paint.

These two figures are actually on sale on ebay at the moment (I'll put a post in the other thread for these kind of things); I enjoy painting but I don't have enough time to produce complete armies so seem to end up with more odd personality/character figures than I really need...

Next Citadel project is maybe going to be some of the 1990s mounted Empire Elector counts or maybe some marines I have from the early RT releases.
