Hello all,

I've completed my RT Predator for my Salamanders army from the WIP pages.

Overall I am happy with it and am looking forward to crushing the enemies of the Emperor under its mighty tracks...

Many thanks! I tend to go rougher on my modern models like my Crimson Fists Storm Raven a few posts down. But for the old stuff I love to keep it clean!
 
Looks great! I really like what you've done with your Salamansers.

I actually started work on my RT predator too and can't wait to put some paint on it. Thanks for the inspiratin.
 
Cheers guys. I finished the tank and banners this morning so there is another post up showing it in all it's retro glory....also I think the picture quality is a bit better than yesterday's.

Bulldog get painting that predator....it's a real joy to paint this lovely old tanks, and when you get started you can't seem to stop!!!!!!

Looks good! I really like what you've done with your Salamanders, especially the iconography on the land speeder. Give me ideas!
 
Well I managed to finally use this venerable old war machine in a game recently. It performed admirably...until a modern style predator blew it off the board.

I found I am really careful when I move this model around as parts of the old kit are really fragile (ie the flag pole)! But overall it's great to see a 25 year old tank holding its own!!
