RIP Biostrip 20 (edit: reports of its demise greatly exaggerated)

Seems that Fuze Products is defunctand their sister company, Natech, is trade only and doesn't appear to sell Biostrip 20.

What are users switching to now? I'd rather not move back to stinky Dettol or use toxic nastiness like Nitromors, brake fluid etc.

That's annoying I was nearing the end of my current tub and just thinking about buying a new pot. It was nice having something that (bar some resins it seems) worked well on pretty much everything. A quick search turned up a thread

suggesting Element Games might start stocking and that this product was the same, but it is twice the price :(.

Humbug.

I only found out when I tried to order a new tub today. Might have to give AK Interactive stripper and/or Expo paint remover a go.

huh.. well.. the tub I brought will last some time.. more so cause I noticed the kinda... recyclable nature.

30% -> 50% off all products while stocks last so.. that's something of interest.

they serve the B2C community? what's B2C?

B2C is Business to [end] Customer, rather than B2B which is Business to Business.

I saw someone mention Home Strip, but apparently not plastic safe I think?

ugh.. Jargon... annoying stuff.. also, I hate when people use numbers as letters.. to quote a song by Weird Al 'You should never write words using numbers, unless you're Seven (or your name is Prince)'.. though that song also features a line I'm... iffy on but still ^_^

^_^; wasn't really getting worked up but fair enough.
Not a huge fan on most modern jargon cause they have to repeat soo much.
To me, STC was always 'Sonic the Comic'.. but now? the Saudi Telecom company, a electrical contactor, a nice range of Microcontrollers... can't understand what people mean when all the 'shorthand' (which isn't really shorthand... which is mostly weird lines and dots) can mean soo many things that it takes longer.

Yes, reading the tub plastic is not mentioned, luckily all my chaps are metal.

Had a response from Fuze Products:
For trade orders to industrial/business customers we have a minimum order requirement of 4x25L. These orders must be shipped to a business and not residential address.

For smaller orders you can try either Element Games or Incom Gaming for Biostrip 20.

If they are showing out of stock on their website, you can send them a message to enquire. They may be out of stock until later in the year.

Always nice to have a resurrection story for Easter ;) Thanks for contacting them.

Maybe I should see if my local gaming store is interested in reselling, I wonder what the wholesale cost is if 1L seems to sell for £16-20. The thought of giant drums of the stuff out back to ladle out for customers is giving me Who Framed Roger Rabbit vibes. I guess postage of liquids is the main PIA, but I might suggest it to them.
