Repainting your own old work

I have never stripped an old figure, even from my rather dodgy paint job days in the very early 80s. Enamel is hard to strip. But I have added paint to them to 'improve' them. Or to change their livery and the like.

Never played it or bought models at the time.

Yup, great little range of Aliens inspired models! I bought these back when they were originally released, pleased to see them still available (could be tempted to pick up more). ;)
 
just started painting my golfag's other ogre mercenaries that i picked up in the late '80's (in the hard plastic clam shell box, anyone else remember those?)
they'll be going into a single unit with all my other ogres which i had previously painted. i've kept the two i liked best, but have stripped the rest so they can be painted to complement.
 
thought about it, but never followed thru. The very early stuff, for me 7 years ago), was plastic minis and i just took some better pics for Nostalgia /progression painting-skills reference,
and then sold them on ebay.
I have a display case, but will outgrow it very soon, so some stuff will have to go.
