Question on Nostalgia '88 paints.

I've got small kids in the house and another one due very soon, so I'm fairly careful with what sorts of things I use in my hobby supplies. I've noticed that photos of their paint pots show them labeled as non-toxic, but there web site doesn't say anything about it. Does anyone have any idea whether they are in fact non-toxic and how that would compare to something like a standard Citadel or Army Painter paint?

I would imagine they're the same as any other water-based acrylic paint (P3, Vallejo, Citadel, etc.).

If you're really concerned, you can break-off the nub at the front, then they'll be impossible to open

But to be honest, they have a way to contact them through their website; I'd give them a shout, and see what they have to say.

No information, but I use them and I have small children at home.

Have never thought twice about it.

I don’t have enough space to leave paint out any way so I always pack stuff up and put it out of reach after a painting session. That’s always a possible solution.

I sort of figured they were along the same line as the other acrylics out there. I'll just drop them a line to be sure.

I have 4 kids from 2 to 13 years old, so I understand your question!

On that topic, I am more concerned about the glues and my box of blades and files, which I always hide in high places when I am not around.
Also I am very careful about cleaning my work place, especially for metal dust and plastic/metals shards.

Finally, on a low shelf I keep cheap paint brushes, Crayola gouache and a couple of dinos and horse.
So when my younger daughters get in the room, they tend to reach for this, not for my desk.
