Looking good mate, looking to him cast up for yourself? and maybe a few spare for umm trading?

Indeed.
In fact, I am considering getting a few 'Munda bits that I am working on cast up.
Would be selling them rather than trading, though, to recoup the casting costs.

Maybe we could work on an exchange for one of those Squats that I am after, though.... ;)

I said trading really as I saw metal bits in the Ratty sculpt and wasn't sure if you had rights to use and cast them to sell really. Happy to buy though hehe

No problems there.
I am ok to sell.

I'd be up for a scout if you sell, it's great work!

Thank you!
Much appreciated.
:)

I shall post on here when they are available.
As I said, there will be a few.

These are my first 'Oldhammer-style' sculpts, most of my stuff has been Pulp/Interwar period, Old West or Horror.
There is more here:

Alongside this chap will be a few figures which are still WIP at the moment.
These include the Scaly Mutant from this thread, I just need to finish his hands and feet and make his big shooter.
I shall post a WIP picture of him tomorrow.

Still a few bits of tidying up and finishing off to do before work begins on the big shooter.

Re: Scaly Mutant WIP 12/05

There has been a little discussion elsewhere regarding weapon options for the Scaly.

I am going to try and figure a way so that the current pose can fit all three options: Blunderbuss, Speargun and Discus, with maybe an option to add a spear and shield utilising the Discus option so that it could be used in a more 'low-tech' enviroment too.

Anyone have anything to add?

The ABC Warriors 15/05

....No, not THOSE ABC Warriors.
;)

I have finished sorting out the new Necromunda gang.

These chaps are the ABC Warriors (Augmented Binary Collective).

A group with a rather fundamentalist attitude to the worship of the Omnissiah and see the teachings of the Imperial Creed as blasphemous and are spreading the true word in Sector 313.
Members of the group cast aside their human identities when they join the 'Collective' and adopt a new identity using binary code.

They are utilising the Van Saar rules, as they are predominantly technology focussed.
I did consider Cawdor, and maybe should have gone down that route bearing in mind their preference for getting up close and personal...

They were a really quick fix as I bought the ganger figures some time ago with the intention of using them as the basis for a sci-fi faction.
Necromunda just came along first.
I have no idea who made them, so if anyone knows, please do say.

This is the Leader of the Collective, 10101, and his Pit Slave hired guns.

The Pit Slaves are both conversions and were painted some twenty years ago!
The female slave, PMT, began life as a Citadel Barbarian which got seriously damaged and hence had an arm lopped off and replaced with a chainsword.

The male slave, Black-Eyed P, has the body of a plastic Goliath figure, the head of a Dwarf and a screw to represent his Rock Drill.
Simples!

The leader is a slightly converted Redemptionist Priest, that began a second career as an Inquisitor in my IG army some fifteen years ago, and has now had his robes painted again to serve in the Collective.

I will probably go back to him and tidy some of the other areas on him ,later, but he will do for now.

Sorry for the rather bad pictures, I may retake them if I go back and sort out some of the painting on the leader.
Maybe.....

Cheers, mate.
For a twenty year old effort I am pretty happy with PMT, my first conversion along with her Pit-mate.
She seems very shy when it comes to the camera, though, as I never seem to be able to get a decent picture of her.....

Remember these chaps, the ABC Warriors (Augmented Binary Collective).....?

Well, I have been using them in our Necromunda campaign where they have been acquitting themselves pretty well.

One of the fellas recently gained the SPECIALIST skill, so I needed to represent either a melta gun or plasma gun on one of them (have not decided which yet...).

The only problem being that I have no idea who makes them, so simply order more to convert was out of the question.

After having a little delve in my bits box I found a plague doctor type figure without a head.
The robes on the figure were very similar so I set about converting that instead.

With a Victoria miniatures head and the excess green stuff that I had left over whilst making the Scouts I got this far....

I reckon he will fit in just fine when I have finished.

That's very good. I like the way their tubed faces and pointed hoods make their heads reminiscent of squids.

Thanks, fellas.
Much appreciated.

I now have a variety of plasma weapons to work with (and a melta, so I may do another...).

Hope to finsh this conversion later.
Pics of the conversion and then gotta paint it to fit in.
(If this damn heatwave allows painting, that is.....)

Brilliant! Where's the backpack from?

Cheers!
:)

I am pretty sure the backpack is from one of the newer Skitaari sets.
got it from a friend who still plays current 40k.
