Orks, Orks and moar Orks (new Orks on p9)

Wild Boyz! Never easyy-yy
Wild Boyz - never chose this way
Wild Boyz - never close your eyyeees
Wild Boyz alwaaaaays
Wildboyz!

Everybodys favourite meat shield, Wildboyz are the naked Ork stat-line come screaming down the table at a mere 4pts a pop.
The Perry Savage Orcs are rather whacky and mis-shapen sometimes but they help remind us that Wildboyz are 'unfinished' Orks and still have more space mushroom-man about them than fierce lootin' shootin' wailin' action.

Those are great, love the two vehicle mounts. There is a badge you can go and grab for March Madness, not that I've actually done the badge, but ahem go and grab it anyway and I will do the badge!

Thanks, I do appreciate!
The gyrocopter mount turned out nicely but shouldn't be scrutinized too closely if you pleease, Mr customs man

March madness continues with a heist through time and space.

I was very pleasantly surprised how neatly the ork buggy driver fit onto the Gyrocopter. Like they were made for each other.
Thwoppa, thwopp.. erm, I mean Oh ry in ah key Ooh lay
Man, that is brilliant! I have never even thought about this idea and feel very jealous now, lol. Love it. Might loot it.. the idea that is.. ;)

I tried to emphasize that they still have to grow into full-fledged orkhood, after all. Sad that most of these probably won't.
When it comes to cannon fodder, everyone thinks Gretchin. Wild Boyz are only 1pt. more but have Toughness 4. And they don't have the 50%-of-bigmob cap like other T4 orks - just the perfect meat-screen, sadly.

first they steal magical stone throwers and black powder artillery, now they've got the gyrocopters ...
and there's no end to their capers in sight!

Another Bloodaxe ruffian has gotten his hands on some imperial 'tribute' - a '99 Necron Destroyer that the ork probably pilfered from a secret research lab. Whether he traveld forward or backward in time to get to it, eh, who knows at this point.

The detail shot hopefully reveals the super-snazzy tiger-striped underpants of the surfer.

This latest contraption brings the number of pilfered ork fliers to three- which is enough to field them in a modern game as a squad of 'Deffkopters' or whatever they're called.

I got to take part in some very fun scenario games of modern Necromunda, using the orks to represent gangers of house Goliath. It's been so much fun that I've added a special Necromunda-only addition to the warhorde:

It's a Zerker, a steroid-addled and mutation-riddled pile of muscle and domestic violence. They get goaded into battle by some nerf-herder or brute-wrangler that's just a Runtherd by another name.
Story-wise I think Feegit the Painboy just couldn't stop fidgeting with orky steroids and mutagens derived from desert plants he "explored" somewhere after his first success with his personal Frankenork. On the battlefield, the zerker could be a tinboy alternative. Can you spot the parts that Feegit put together?

That's proper RT-era nonsense that is. Excellent work.

Thanks all!
Unfortunately, the necron glider isn't RT by a long shot. Released in '99 it's 3rd edition I think.
The original plan was a Bloodaxe imperial vehicle, something cool and flashy the orks would accept as tribute. Rummaging through the leadpile, I discovered the Necron Destroyer (or is it destructor?) missing the robot pilot arms, so on came an orky space gun and a snotling messing with the robot's innards. The bloodbowl catcher just fit into the surfer pose all by itself. Not era-appropriate but a much nicer sculpt than the old jet-bike or jet-cycle and it looks pretty snazzy after all.
No sooner had I assembled the conversion that I discovered the seatless land Speeder that I was sure I had sold off ages ago. So why not add a third skimmer/flyer and go thwoppathwoppathwoppa all the way home.
