Orc’s Drift…so it begins.

This weekend’s kitbashing efforts has yielded: the Fyar Guard (hoping they’ll be more use than a chocolate one) in full plate armour, with shields, halberds and shortbows; and, an updated Silas Meel, on his desperate bid for freedom, armed only with his dagger, his vial of elfsbane and a nice chunky rock to fling at any pursuers.

Another neat conversion! What kits did you use here?
Thanks. The components were as follows:

F’yar Guard:
- bodies, heads & shields, Frostgrave Demons.
- arms, Oathmark Orc Heavy Infantry
- bows, spliced together from Oathmark Orc Infantry set.

Silas Meel:
- body, cloak and arm, Wargames Atlantic Dark Age Irish
- head, Oathmark Orc Heavy Infantry
- dagger, Oathmark Orc Infantry
- vial, Frostgrave Wizards II.

Greetings all. It’s been a wee while (life as a carer can mean hobbying time is irregular) but ‘ere we go.

I’ve kitbashed a new version of Brommedir, as I felt the original one I did looked a little too Classical era and not quite ‘80s pointy ear enough. I have also created my iterations of Magyar Ironfist (the only conversion there being the removal of a Mohawk hair-do from the head I wanted to use) and Grashak Kra (who involved somewhat more ‘surgery’ - a real Franken-orc).

I’ve also created some test runs of my Severed Hand tribe troops (converted Roman auxiliaries with greenskin head conversions) over the past couple of months, and, assembled the victims…err…I mean, villagers of Linden Way.

I now have all the figures purchased and most of the buildings also. Just more assembling and a whole lotta painting to go.

Anyway, ‘ere we go, ‘ere we go, ‘ere we go…

King F’yar on his ceaselessly defecating wyvern. (Had to unleash the bicarb and superglue as I clumsily dropped the wyvern and the zoggin’ wings snapped off. Hence the white powdery stuff. King F’yar is not pulling a Tony Montana).

Tony Montana? I take it a modern reference that just flies over my head ^_^

one problem with Resin, more so cheap resin alot of 'companies' use for printing (why they insist on going with the cheapest stuff around I don't know) is it is soo brittle. But hopefully it'll be fix 100% in the final job cause it looks like project is going well
