Oldhammer - Bring Out Your Lead! (2013)

Gaj, it seems that the booking form link is broken. I have just tested it and got an error message.

Typical! I changed the name at the last minute. Stupid!

Anyway, all fixed now - thanks for the heads up!

Hi all

Now that a few people have signed up, I thought you might be interested in the numbers.

This is a dynamic report, so the link will always show the latest figures.

Note - it does now include all the organisers yet, so one can add about 3 or so to the count.

Hi,

Really interested in the Oldhammer day and want to sign up for the open RoC battle and have a general natter and amble around. I have a problem though and thought it best to clear it with you first: I'm quite unwell  (not green but still stoically positive) and may not be able to make it on the day or have to drop out mid way. The RoC game seems perfect for me as you can come and go. Will it be a problem if i register and then have problems? I won't be insulted if it's an issue and don't want to put anyone out.

thanks

BALM

Hi BALM

Thanks for asking. I think I speak for the entire oldhammer community when I say that you are more than welcome to come through - provided that your condition doesn't lead to something like 28 Days Later :)

But, in all seriousness - you are more than welcome. This is not a tournament and there are no rules, obligations, judgments and so-on that occurs in the tournament scene. We're just a couple of guys (give or take 20) who want to get together and play classic warhammer.

Come on down - we'd love to meet you!

Cheers Weazil,

Not only was that what I wanted to hear it also made me choke laughing

In all seriousness I'd be more worried about you! I'm already all full of angry virus and thus immune (hopefully) to the attentions of the gribbly and rage filled. I also feel sorry for any Z that bit me due to the huge amount of meds flowing around my system, it'd be the happiest undead ever for the few seconds it survived ;) (I'm not saying I'm the only solution to the zombie apocalypse but......)

Thanks for that, just didn't want to put a spanner in the works after all the hard work you guys have put in.

Why does your description remind me of this, from the Simpsons:

I was juat checking out the numbers ...Who is running Forenronds last stand? i had not picked up on that.

Hi Harry

Erny is providing the figures, but we've yet to work out who is stewarding which games. Unfortunately, I've just not had the time this April to do anything with this event, so I'll start looking at how to organise the games on the day next. It might end up that I put a call out for a few volunteers to help run some of the game slots, to allow the owners of the games to do something else.

I'll let you all know as soon as I know.
