Old School Necromunda

So this is the second time I have built the three legged tower (mainly to save plastic bulkheads so I can build another tower). I have learned from the previous three about various improvements...while reducing some of the raised detail that caused too much wobbly model syndrome. Making certain their is a hatch cover beside every ladder, etc. I still will add some garbage to the bottom where it would collect near the vent hole and bulkheads, but that is for later.

^The tower looks quite right and proper and you've done a lovely job with your Goliaths. It's some serious dedication to make Goliaths look good. ;)

I'm loving following along with this project, makes me want to break out my own necromunda minis and scenery (mainly the scenery which has seen better days) and fix them up, upgrade the painting on them.

I've always liked the scum models and you've done a good job on this one. I assume that they were meant to be former gang members and that this one’s an ex-van Saar?

Thanks Citizen Sade, symphonicpoet, and twisted moon

Scum were basically an experienced gangster who could be hired for fist full of credits before a gang fight. Four models were produced in the Necromunda range.

Next model finished, a Wyrd Pyromaniac (who could also be hired for a game).

Thank you twisted moon, Sleepysod, symphonicpoet, and Tex.

Beginning of a Scavvy Gang.

One is a Scaly and two are very old Marauder Ash Wastes gangers from Confrontation.

Those "scaly" miniatures are pretty cool. Was that a part of the Necromunda/Confrontation range at some point? (I got out of the hobby about when Confrontation became Necromunda, and I've still never actually played it, even though I do have a copy and a bunch of the miniatures at this point. I'm . . . slow.) Anyway, fabulous stuff!
