Old School Blood Bowl humans - updated 14 August 2016

Not sure how "Oldhammer" these are, but they are classic Gary Morley scuplts from the 1990s: some Blood Bowl linesmen done as colour tests for my Averheim Avengers. More info and bigger pictures on the blog.

Re: Some Blood Bowl linesmen

Never goy myself to play BloodBowl, but I'd say these look cool and ready to rumble! :)

Re: Some Blood Bowl linesmen

Very smart! You've painted these with a graphic style which works perfectly in Blood Bowl. I like the little variation on the helmets - enough to add interest without distracting from the uniformity of the strip.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the team come together.

Re: Some Blood Bowl linesmen

Colour test, eh?

I say: Go for it!

They will look great, the whole team in that striking colour scheme.

BTW: I had half a dozen Blood Bowl teams at one time, but the only one I have kept is the Humans.
Same figures as these, mostly, with a couple of older figures to make up the numbers.

Thanks! Progress has begun on the next lot - hopefully some photos soon. I know a lot of stuff Gary Morley did has its detractors, but of all the Blood Bowl humans sculpted, this version is by far my favourite.

Thanks, Axiom. :)

I should say the rest of the team I have planned will have less uniformity..... I am planning some stripes and checks and things - More photos soon. My thinking was, I am not doing any conversions so to add some visual interest to all of the doubles (and triples...) I would have variations in the painting. Hopefully you will like the look overall.
