First of all, if the Mods thinks this post should be in another subforum, please move it to the correct place. I didn't see another subforum to write it.
Sadly, I don't write many post in this forum. English is not my mother tongue, and it's difficult for me to write all the things I want to say about all oldhammer-like things. There is no place like this in Spanish, I have knew many Spanish gamers that has an oldhammer passion like me, but we are scattered. I have one closed friend in my city, and my brother, and we keep the fire of this oldhammer passion, but sometimes it's a good thing to have a place to talking with others gamers like you, reading scenarios, seeing images, exchanging miniatures and talking about rules and bizarres ramblings about a particular aspect of Rogue Trader, for example.
This forum is the perfect place for me (it would be more perfect if I could write with a better English, if you know what I mean). I have readed very interesting post about differences between WFB editions, John Blanche's works, rules questions (oh, I just remember I have to write a question about maneuvers in WFB 3rd ed!) and others topics, and I enjoyed the time I have spent reading them. Two days ago, a good friend of mine says me everyone is on Facebook. I didn't have Facebook account, I don't like it, but knew I should meet more "oldhammerers" like me, especially in Spain, and the closed to me, the better (the battles do not play via skype!). So, I ended up creating an account.
This post is like a general question, not a complain. Why everyone is on Facebook? I know it is more immediate, like the life we lives in our society, I know people don't want open another tab browser to visit another forum... But I think the forums are a better way of communication: we have all the post in subforums, sorted by topics, the forum tells you what post you have unread, when an user writes a new comment and when topics have new answers... And, the most important feature: the info has not expiration date. All the posts are here, sorted by subforums and topics, and you can arrive a year later and can find the conversation about Blanche's works and read it again!
I hope I have expressed my idea... Sorry if I made some big mistake writing this.
