No designated enemies in sight just yet... For now, I'm focusing on recruiting and training. My army still needs to grow a lot bigger before launching its first campaign

My army is based on a real historical unit: the Kornilov Russian White Army regiment, which has a large blue patch on the left shoulder.

At first, I wanted to paint this patch on the miniatures, but it just wouldn't have popped. So, I decided to paint their skin blue instead!

After all, sci-fi gives us the freedom to pull off this kind of madness, even if it might trigger the lore purists of the Mordian Iron Guard

I also chose to paint the eyes plain yellow. Not only is it the perfect complementary color to blue, but it also keeps my miniatures from looking like Fantomas, that classic villain from 1960s French cinema!
