I know of an old place called Battle Forge but that is not the place.. it's a common enough term sadly.

hopefully someone will be able to help a bit ^_^

Not the seller in question, but I sell stuff worldwide, and unfortunately, the tariff regime means posting anything to the US is absolutely screwed at the moment so I've stopped too.

What happens is that the parcel arrives on US soil, and then US Customs or USPS seem to sit on it, don't bother to tell the recipient it's waiting and won't be delivered until the outstanding tariff on it gets paid.

Then, after an undetermined amount of time, they apparently just throw the thing into a volcano or something. It means that not only do American customers not get their parcel, it means that I have to refund it (postage and all) and then don't even get the parcel returned to me so I'm doubly out of pocket.

After having to refund 3 or 4 packages I said sod it, it's not worth the hassle anymore.
 
I stopped selling to the US about 5 or 6 years ago?
IIRC they introduced a last mile tariff or something?
Whatever they did made shipping to the USA very expensive. Brexit was around the same time and that saw a big drop in sales to the EU.

Glad I am not in the game anymore. Too many headaches.
 
I ship to the USA with DPD. Have had a few parcels returned, but the problem seems to be the duty email goes into the spam so the customer is unaware there's anything to pay. As long as you provide a tracking number and warn them it doesn't seem to be a problem.
