Nightmare Legion - 100 Strong - Now with reinforcements P2!

Awesome. I kind of want to expand my paltry 15 of them into 100 and see how mad it is to play now...

I think there’s one other person I know of with a 100 strong Nightmare Legion. You could join a very exclusive and somewhat pointless club! Unfortunately when I was putting this together I was paying very little for the models, I suspect that has changed!

Guess you'll be wanting a badge for that! Damn and I've only just done a badge for the Femuary posts! The todo list is piling up (Febuhairy is next), might have to actually commission one of the old GW artists at some point to do them all properly!

A go big or go home badge for 100 figure regiments would be very exclusive club. Maybe there should be mono-pose monotony medals in bronze, silver and gold flavours too? Say bronze for 25 figures, silver for 50 and 100 for gold. The later regiments of renown would be for those who really relish a challenge given the trooper variants.

I suspect that has changed!

I have just ordered 5 which will take me up to 20, once those 5 are painted I will order 5 more and approach it that way.
Seeing 85 unpainted models will make me cry forever.

£5.00 each which seems very reasonable to me.

When I first started buying them, I was paying about £1 a model!

Spealing personally I don't envy you. I painted 3 nightmare legion and found it quite enough! Just seemed like horrible models, and I like a vintage gribbly skeleton!

I say this in the most affectionate way, but yes, they're objectively crap models. The Command are lovely, but the base troopers are very, very dated and soft on the details. It was an absolute slog to batch paint 100 in one go, as I stupidly didn't bother to do it in stages.
