Night Goblins

I've decided to pull my finger out and paint my first and only WHFB army (well, there are some Fimir now too) this year.

Most of what's here was painted back in 09 when I got back into the hobby, but what I was happy with then wasn't too flash so I have spent the past week cleaning them up and redoing the skin on the block of spears which were rather horrid.

As you can see, most are the new plastics and Skull Pass minis but there are smatterings of old school minis in there and yet to come.
Tabletop standard is going to be the modus operandi for the most part, especially on the blocks of infantry, but I have 6 strong mobs of Stone and River Trolls and a Giant (version before the current plastic) which will get the attention they deserve.
I'm nearly finished one Stone Troll (couldn't help myself)

Yeah, lovely to see nicely painted classics in there.

I love Kev Adams '91/'92 era Goblins. Great bunch of loons the lot of em. Trying to assemble my own horde at the moment!

Very nice mix of unified models (or is it a great tie of mixed models...) anyway, I like what I see, brings back some good red era memories ! I can't see Grom; anyone seen him? ;)

Cheers guys.

Yeah man, even as a 40k preoccupied youth the fanatics, clubbers and netters really made an impression...as did the blood bowl goblin star players, as you may have noticed I snuck "Fungus Da Loon" in as a fanatic.

No Grom, unfortunately.
I nearly bought him so many times (he is now deleted from GW) but the fact I wanted a full Night Goblin force always stopped me short.

Wonderful models! They've always been some of my favorites. I was happy when GW went back to the weedy night goblins instead if the behemoths that were the multipart plastics. I can't wait to see more!

Orcs and gobbos are dear to me, being my first army. These guys look good. Top work or Skarsnick and Gobbla. I approve this project
