I think he means that sort of floor polish ink wash thing that many painters, (mostly historical?) dip their base coloured models into to add shade.

Cheers Sade - they are quite good fun. Probs one of the few modern figs I kinda rate. Simple. Not too many spiky, tentacly, pouchy bits. If ya get me. Most modern GW is hooooogely elaborate
