Necromunda/Confrontation Gang: The Swamp Ratz WIP

The Tribes of The Swamp Ratz have lived within the Underhive for millennia and treat it as a living Deity much in the same way as their distant kin the Ratskin . They believe the Underhive is both generous in its bounty and merciless in its vengeance. They have little to do with the Hivers and are rarely encountered, preferring to steer clear of the heathens who desecrate their sacred hive by poisoning its sacred places.

I'm a happy man my Em4 Miniatures came this morning, sadly it was 1 figure short dew to be out of stock.. oh well shit happens but i'm still more then happy with the order and will be placing many more (Shhh Don't tell the wife).

So after a few weapon swaps and a few arm bends here's the first look at my Swamp Ratz:

The pictures are a bit dark to see the details, but the models look cool from what I can see. You have quite a rapid painting output. Also I'm jealous of your Necromunda table!

Jaysus, you sure have an enviable rate of output there. Impressive return for quality/time. I would probably not have based them in the time you finished them!

Heh thanks, my painting table is always set up and ready to go at a moments notice . Plus any chance I get I jump on the painting table normally it's when the Wife is at work or watching her TV shows. My goal is normally 2-6 figures a day or 1-2 monsters (Like Fimir) or a single Tank ect.

I also don't batch paint i paint in 1's or 2's to keep my interest going (Highlighting is my favourite part)

Good job. I'd certainly turn and walk the other way if I saw these guys wandering through the Underhive towards me...

I wouldn't turn my back on them... not when half of them are wearing leather/whips/chains and couple have the butt cheeks out hehe

Yay you found a camera that can focus, gold star!

They are amazing for the time span you did them in 8-) . Very practical style for painting lots of minis to a good standard.

Heh sometimes pictures like to work for me, as for painting black primer and black wash are my friends. Rather happy with them for 4 days work but there's still a few touch ups needed at a later date.

Great looking gang, and nice photos amongst the Necromunda terrain.

I think I'll have to pick these guys up, to add to the models I have for a Cyberpunk project that I might eventually actually start.

Some great (and seriously fast) painting on some really nice miniatures. Those old Copplestone miniatures that EM4 stock are genuine classics: I dont think that any other range of not-Mad Max types have captured the future savage the way that those sculpts did. They have hardly aged at all in my opinion.

Doug at EM4 is a gent too.

You probably know this, but Copplestone Castings have a range of figures that compliment these perfectly (same sculptor after all). My favourites are the Wastelands Desperadoes :)

Yeah the Copplestone Castings Future Wars range is great, slightly more expensive and sadly come in pre-set packs. A few of the sets i plan to pick up soon. This gang has also grown with EM4 Bikers and Scavs (Pictures later today/tomorrow)
