My ROGUE TRADER gallery by Llisos - squat conversion

Re: My ROGUE TRADER gallery by Llisos - SPACE PIRATE

Sometimes I do conversions ...

I bring you my slaanesh renegade space marine.

It has components of various things and issues, but I think the result is still very oldschool.

PS: thank you all for your comments! That encourages me to keep posting my stuff.

Now thats a figure that really pops. Great choice of colour, and I am impressed by how you used pinks to shade his head, really ties it into the rest of the model.

Re: My ROGUE TRADER gallery by Llisos - Astropath

Hello everyone!

Here I bring my atropath, from the TALISMAN TIMESCAPE range. It's my favorite astropath miniature from the ROGUE TRADER era.

I tried to make the tunic with a satin effect.

I hope you like it!

Oh, I like that. Both the paint job and the figure itself. It has a where the wild things are vibe about it. Kev Adams’ work, I presume?

Re: My ROGUE TRADER gallery by Llisos - Cthellean Cudbear

Looks great! :) Knightmare has some good stuff and you've painted it really nicely.

Re: My ROGUE TRADER gallery by Llisos - Cthellean Cudbear

The way you've done the claws is really great on that one.

Really, thank you all for commenting!

I continue with the bestiary of RT.

Here I show you my slaver, which I have tried to paint following the description in the RT manual.

As many of you already know, the miniature is for sale at CROOKED DICE SHOP.

I love this mini!

I do like that, lovely retro model. I have to ask however .... how many times has it fallen over? :) I've decided to mount all my older lead flyers on the more modern wider flight stands.

Thanks!

Well, it has never fallen!

It is not an old model, it is quite well balanced in weight in terms of the axis of the aerial base.

It is also made of resin and not lead, so there have not been many complications in gluing.

Now, to glue an aerial base to an old model, I recommend that you make an anchor first with a manual drill.

Maybe I need another octopus myself. Very nice stuff! The eye is indeed lovely, as is the pink on the suckers. Very subtle and lovely stuff. :)

Re: My ROGUE TRADER gallery by Llisos -Enslaver

Good morning everyone!

As "ugly" as it may be, it has its charm.

It was one of the first to be released in 1987 for Rogue Trader as a telepath, then went on to be in the atropath catalogs, and finally ended up in the adventurer range as a techpriest.

Since I already have a couple of techpriests and an atropath, and since he doesn't look like one or the other, I painted him as a member of the adeptus astronomica, who according to the old manual wear blue.
