'My first sculpt' IDing

Got two figures here which appear to be of the same 'character' (as in the armour is pretty much the same and sculpt is). one has a missing sword, the other.. not sure.. no weapons so might have one taken out but no names or anything on the bases.

I refer to the one on the left as 'My first sculpt' cause.. I don't know how well it comes across in the photo but, with no insult meant to the sculpture (probebly), it's awful. The face is kinda flat with a bit of a nose, a bit of a mouth, and the eyes aren't too bad but most of the face is kinda flat and unformed, the pose is.. I just don't have a clue what the pose is.. Zombie maybe. the chest and up seam to be one scale, and the rest of the body and hips a smaller scale. I kinda reminds me alot of some early introduction to sculpting tests figures. The right one is more like the final thing as it's far better proportions and everything. Still not fantastic and looks like it's clearly the same sculpture..

Any ideas on these?

metal doesn't feel like what I would expect from drop cast. not a huge experience, just my own work but the metal seams less flexible and a bit more brittle when you try to bend with drop cast.. of course, this might be cause I don't heat the metal up enough... also I get far better results in detail then these.. though possible.. then indeed these are someone's first attempts
