My Empire Army

Is that a cheeky tache on his lip?

Any moar stuff?
I'm going to muster the empire force when I get home (Wednesday).
I want to see what sort of points value I have already. I have started painting my gobbos and it would be good to have a target size.
I'm still going to continue the empire force, I'm thinking of disbanding the Reiksguard knights and giving each of them their own unit, using the men at arms range and painting them in the colours of their knight

That seems like a big undertaking, why the change?
I have changed my mind again, I do that a lot. The knights look awesome ranked up. I do intend to add a lot more units, I still have plenty of knights (CO1 and F series) to paint and I want to make those the leaders of units. I think the next effort on the Eastern Marches should be the Ersatzsolder, I have loads of cool F series fighters (and a few C series) to add to that and its criminal that they are not painted.

I'm going to start a new thread in the showroom, I recently started "my Goblinoids vs Sir Brutt" to show my slowly growing gobbos and I will start a "Sir Brutt vs the Goblinoids" to show the empire force

No idea yet Michael, I will get them on parade and see what needs doing. I intend to carry on with my goblins for now, but Sir Brutts army will always be my main army.

But... if I ever get my hands on this miniature I'm afraid Sir Brutt will have to stand down. Not to worry though, unless a "Needful Things" shop suddenly opens in Colchester I doubt I will ever see one. pic takrn from stuff of legends Screenshot_20250514_164124_Chrome.jpg

Hard to make that out. But it did remind me of when GW made mounted and dismounted versions of the same figure.
Oh yes, the adventur packs. I have most of those as I love them, the bard is definitely going to be in my army.
This Battle Lord was a very limited release and only mail order (I think). So it is ridiculously rare. The standard bearer is on ebay....for £138!
In all my years of trawling I have never seen the mounted miniature for sale.
(I was kind of obsessed with finding this one, I'm over it now..kind of)

whoa.. that standard bearer is... not worth that price.. not a bad figure but pretty generic (which makes sense and while he does nice work, about right for Mark Cobblestone. Good for standard generics then stand out characters.
