My eclectic painting habits

Thank you for reminding me about the blog. Your bunker is great. I love the graffiti. And the blog post is great and the larger pictures help. Great stuff!

Thanks. I have some more builds planned but until then I thought I would share a bit of a side project.

I have also repurposed some 100 yen stationery tins as shipping containers. After some weathering they look quite effective.

Another piece of pre-slotta glory. A mini that has always reminded me of Arcangelo from Zaragoz. A great book from the early days of GW novels.

Some more dwarves including my first attempy at a free hand banner. The standard bearer is the latest figure I have painted and I can say that I am getting better at eyes.

I do like that banner, very nice, lovely rich colour. What did you paint it on? The other thing I enjoy with your models is the general vibe I get from them, I think it's a combination of the bright colours and the bases with flower tufts, sets me in mind of the Talisman artwork and high summer adventure!

Thank you. I am not sure what my thought processes for my colour and basing choices are, but Talisman is certainly a reference source for me. I painted the banner on tin foil, a technique that I read in White Dwarf from the 80s, it holds shapes really well.
