My Dark Elf Army will destroy you

The video was very funny. I don't know why I bothered reading any of the comments but there are some people out there with serious irony meter defects.

I love the marauder dark elves, like their orcs they have everything covered to have a marauder only army. I really love coldone riders, you need some of them in your force. Also for back up some marauder undead for your magician to raise and some nice marauder monsters to bind into a host.

As to collecting marauder witch elves heres some motivation (OK and a bit of showing off if you ignore the years old PJ):

I like the way your mind works. Also, I've checked out your dark elves for inspiration in the past. It was meant to be a form of deterrence. I was trying to convince myself I didn't need a Dark Elf army because I could just stare at your army whenever the DE bug bit me.... it didn't work.

Nice army Dieselmonkey, been checking it out for a couple of months, you've got just about everything in there and I envy the melnibonean/DE cavalry wing - looks stunning... and expensive!

I'd love to know where to get some proper DE cavalry, the marauder ones on the barded horses. I cannot find 'em anywhere and I MUST HAVE THEM!

Those things are rare...not especially valuable, but rare. I'm pretty sure I have the largest collection in the world at 8

Just watch eBay and the forums, they usually only come up in singles.

I have at least 20 and about 15 of the cold one riders too. Picked up in the early 2000's off ebay when early 90's lead was cheap.

Glad the army is an inspiratin to you bulldoglopez, though I imagine it is only the collection not the PJ you find inspiring. On the other hand your 40K does inspire for both collectin and paint.

Haha, mostly being sarcastic about the rarity! The cold one rider are easy to get. I've accidentally acquired them and I've got about 15 or 20 letting around too.

Surprisingly not, keep an eye out on eBay 'High Elf' searches. I got those 15 for about £30, as they were badly/incorrectly listed.

Yea, I picked up 10 in about 2 weeks from teasing and looking at second hand gaming shops online. There are a ton of them out there.

Hey everyone,

I managed to knock out a test mini this weekend. I really like colored metallics so i'm sticking with it. I think the gold chainmail works well too. I may stick with a darker purple and red as an accent color and use black for pants/shirts/tunics. I think this palette works well for Dark Elves.

Let me know what you think.

Also, I will not be using this mini in the warband. I think its a 4th ed generation of marauder minis. While i'm sure it ranks up better, it has no personality whatsoever.
