Hehe, that bloke on the back of the bike was apparently "the golden youth" (just watched a doco about a guy with a Mad Max museum here, he had one of the feral kid's boomerangs and mentioned that "bloke" as such)

Anyways, awesome thread and work- I have never seen that pic of K.Boulton's :grin:

I wish I didn't read this post, now I am filled with the urge to work on my own (currently undercoated for the last 8 years) Noise Marine ensemble - "Rock Out With Your Cock Out".

I feel that a battle of the bands must surely be on the gaming horizon.....

Sorry Cheetor for helping derainling your thread but Otto here just reminded me I did commit a noise marine with his cock out (with the 2 asdrubael Vaect victims at his feet). I guess we can open a "rogue trader rock bands" thread n the showroom now...

Thanks very much Blue :) The OTT, tongue in cheek style of the sculpting does seem to suit my cartoony painting style.

The boyz nearly became one of those half finished projects that hang around for years - the undercoat didnt adhere properly and started coming off, I missed some significant mould lines until very late in the process, I dropped one of them, real-life meant that I had to leave them sitting around untouched for days on end while my enthusiasm ebbed etc. Frankly I was simply glad to get them finished. That I ended up pretty pleased with the result is almost a side effect, if you know what I mean.

I read about that guy with the museum. He owns a V8 Interceptor and a blue heeler dog as well as the boomerang etc.

After posting sub-space advertisements throughout the sector, Mushrööm Klöwd are pleased to announce that they have signed a new drummer...

I quickly kitbashed the drum kit as the guy didnt look RAWK enough supposedly hitting the things hanging off his belt.

The blog post is HERE. It turns out that I am not quite done with these guys. I have at least one more model to add, which will bring the Klöwd up to five strong, which is a decent unit size if I ever feel the need to field them in a game like that.

Its funny to note the miniature projects that grab me and actually get finished. I could be painting ninjas or giant robots or space cops, but ork rockers are what gets done. Peculiar.

Thanks for the feedback guys. One more model to add to this and I will consider the Mushrööm Klöwd sub-project finished. Other than playing a couple of games with them of course. I have a few specific scenarios planned.

The only other caveat is the possible inclusion of a synth player at some point in the future. Maybe.

I'm late to the party but dare I say these models rock? OK I'm out, but before leaving, let me tell express my sincere congrats for a top notch job. Every detail like the shades, the neon-like name on the drums and the mk6 helmet, they all help make it go from the "very good" spot to the "excellent" one.
