Mother's Love

[summerone]

I'm currently in the process of painting this diorama from Ral Partha Legacy, depicting a mother dragon about to feed a hapless victim to her hungry babies. I've pretty much finished the main colours on the dragons, need to start on the details and highlights for those now. I'm trying to keep the baby dragons similar in colour to the mother, with slight variation in tones for each. Victim is pretty much done and I've just started work on the rocks on the base:

Good start on a lovely diorama piece. My wife is pestering me to add that one to her Dragon collection.

Have we seen that?

Ditto!

It is a lovely piece, I need to take some better pictures of it. I really like the attention to detail, there is so much I keep noticing as I paint it. Typical for Tom Meier sculpts I guess.
