More Warhammer: The Old World Made to Order miniatures

He's called Gutlagg, according to a 1986 flyer.

I wonder what made GW pick these miniatures. This is not the range I would have chosen.
Aha. I used to have the c23 ogre thug, which is also listed. Again, goes for silly money. Interesting to see they got repurposed as 40K Ogryns (both of them).

and there is one in the green

The Collector Series was 1987 but that was mostly a Colin Dixon line (atleast a first) and I don't remeber them being in that... I think it would probably have been post marauder.

Prices:
  • Baggage carts (two) £47 (£23.50 each)
  • Baby Dragon set £30
  • Ogre Captain £18.75
  • Ogres (sets of three) £37.50 (£12.50 each)
Baggage train carts seem rather overpriced, Ogres seem about right given they will typically sell for £10-20 on ebay. Expected the captain to be more *sigh*, but fortunately I already have him. Dragons a little pricey I think given I don't expect them to be large, essentially it's about £7 per lump of metal and I think they are no larger than a normal figure.

I was thinking I'd get most of it, but that's £150, so I'm thinking maybe just the ogres and if I want some more carts one day I'll build them. The dragons I'd like as they are cute, but £30... £20 and they'd have had me.
