Moon Beast

I started painting this Ral Partha moon beast last night and am quite close to being finished. I'm really enjoying painting this one, took the paint scheme from a couple of pictures I found online and it has been a lot of fun for me to do. I can't decide on whether to give it pupils or not - I am leaning towards either no pupils as it is, or cat-like slit pupils. I am a bit concerned about losing the creepy effect it has at the moment if it has pupils - making it more relatable maybe? Anyone have any thoughts as to their preference? Thanks!

glassy empty eyes how they are now most creep I think. any kind of pupils make it's gaze conscious and effect would be lost IMHO

A couple of years back I saw some amazing Mork Borg minis where the guy painting them had really leaned into the pupiless eye aesthetic (he was inspired by the Hellboy comics). I think it added to the cosmic horror of it all (blank, soulless stares and all that). I'd leave the eyes as-is.
