Michaels 25mm WFB Stuff...

It's looking good though, and I really like the handle. I've been doing some sacrilegious 3d printing whilst DIYing. As much to learn what the various settings do. Not unrelated, I've also made a fair amount of plastic string.

What is going on in groove town you say?

5 more undead arrived to add to my unit (to one day make 100?) , and the coaching inn I am working on.

Some trees have been bought:

and some have been enhanced with extra scatter/flock:

Some old tree bases/areas are having permanent trees added and these will become impassable terrain.
Plus there will be 3 more stand alone trees to add to the collection, you can never have too many trees?

Thank you!!

No to snow, that was in all fairness a quite light grey but the camera and lighting did not help.
But after hours of tedium back to my usual grey colour.

:D

I finished the trees.

I bought some plastic tree roots/trunks to slide the twisty trees into.
However I was not pleased with the fit:

So I unwrapped the trunk on the tree (which seems to be paper and glue or maybe some bad sort of tape) and then cut the exposed metal in half so that now you have this:

I then tidied up the plastic roots and added some shizz and now I have 2 impassable wood sections:

Good stuff, I aways fill in and work over my tree trunks with a bit of putty, doing like you did also allows for some variation in height.

The Inn looks amazing, the moss on the walls and roof are great, those shingles as Fimm says are great. I really like the colours, that green door looks great.

Thanks chief. I decided to start the stables. Not finding a Townscape stable building I liked I have deviated from my plan to use only Townscape buildings and have made one up as I went along. Once it is complete I will post a picture. Hopefully it looks in keeping with the Townscape vibe.

The home brew stables are done.
I think they look like they could pass for a Townscape model.
I tried to mirror some of the inns designs to help it blend, such as the bottom part having no timber except around doors and the main entrance to the stables has the same door as the inns extension etc.

I did mention that when I did the Inn I upped my door game by adding plates to the doors on which the handles are fixed.
Well I upped them again by rounding off the corners of those plates and also doing the same to the hinges.

I find it interesting that such small modifications can add so much to the look of the model.
Anyhow here it is near the inn…
