metal magic calendar 1992

This calendar is comprised of dioramas completed mostly by Michael Imming (bar two of the last interesting ones IMHO). I have hung it on my wall on & off ever since 1992 for inspiration.

I'll show one month at a time... depending on the level of interest.

Not sure why two of the three image's I uploaded have been turned 90 degrees? Anyway, here tis:

You should scan it, I'd be very interested in a high-res PDF of the images within.

BTW, my love for Metal Magic surpasses my love for Gary Chalk. Consider yourself redeemed in my eyes. ;)

I'll second my erstwhile Sweedish companions request for scans of the calendar - well worth seeing more of them.

Lovely, lovely stuff.

Michael Imming should definitely consider releasing an art book. Anyone know where he is?

Sorry phreedh, I don't have access to a scanner, but I am the proud owner of a phone with a crappy camera!

OK... I'll check on the Metal Magic forum if anyone have one they could scan. If not, I'm afraid you'll have to post yours to me and I'll scan it, and then ship it back to you together with a few complimentary minis.

Nice try :)

Try downsizing the images, Í had that sideways thing going on when I started posting phone pics on forums and resizing them sorted it ;)

Thanks Count, I'll give that a try.

Actually not a "try", just an honest request. :) Regardless, I'll check the Metal Magic forum first before I start harassing you again.

There's a Metal Magic forum? I'll have to have a look into that.

I'm a bit reluctant to send it half way around the world phreedh, I reckon the chances of it getting water damaged or worse in the post are quite high. I'll try and see if I can find someone with a scanner...... just for you ;)

Tried resizing them Count, but the image quality looked terrible. I'm afraid your all gunna have put your heads at an awkward angle to view these pics ok.

Here's February,

I wouldn't worry - but I fully understand if you do! No problem mate, I'll have a rummage around. Hell, maybe Michael has one himself from his time there. I'll prod him too.

Here's March,

This is one of the dioramas that wasn't done by Michael Imming..... he didn't do March & June.

Bloody brilliant!!! Wish I had one of these calendars!
I talked to Michael Immig, he has one (but no extras)... and no chance to scan it properly. =/ I'll see if he can be talked into loaning it to me. The world needs high res scans of this! I'm sure Viruz has one too (seeing how he owns all the bloody dioramas!). For those interested, check out www.metalmagic.de - it's a bit hard to navigate and it's decidedly German, but crammed full of goodness!

"Hi! I'm $rndChap off of internet... we've had brief thread interactions on this forum over the last few years but don't really know each other. Can I borrow your shit, please?"

Heh, I can see why you're a bit reluctant to ship it off, Optimus.
