Merry Christmas

Certainly is. I collect Hammer Horror lady autographs.
Admittedly the Caroline Munro is not a HH still, the Captain Kronos stills were not as appealing.
The two from Twins of Evil... So pretty.

Anyway this is a Warhammer thread not a HH Scream Queen appreciation thread, I shall get back to building and not go off topic any more lol.

Could call my two vampires Caroline and Ingrid though.

Some old oldies and some new oldies.

Wow the cart is shockingly bad quality.
Once I have greenstuffed it I will post it on my main topic.
What a haul!! I'm chuffed with mine too, my lovely partner knows me all too well... Some really nice brushes to replace old workhorses and a series of lovely blisters from Footsore, besides non-Warhammer things! Got my eye on the cart and the GW plastic scenery kits, you'll have to let us know how they are as I've also come into possession of a couple of GW gift vouchers

True, I'm just used to forum mods in other forums moaning at me if I drift off topic. People seem a lot more chilled here.
Occasionally we nudge if the thread topic is very particular. I've always to some extent thought leaping in on the first "off topic" post can actually derail things a bit more than letting it just fizzle after a post or two, or that it's better to steer back by actually contributing to the thread rather than just telling anyone off. Of course the joys of the https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/online-safety-act-explainer/online-safety-act-explainer might curtail some discussions of the slaughter of small soldiers (probably best not to have our villages full of civilians) or the virtues of Caroline Munro. Still we have until march to figure out what that means so for now I'm going to see if I've left any mince pies in the kitchen and maybe sneak a sherry to wash it down with.

And the Baron's war stuff looks so nice, often been tempted.

Generally I've found the GW terrain to be pretty good. All the Old-world stuff is just re-releases, but the kits are decent with a fair amount of opportunity to customise them with the various greebles in the box. Certainly the fortified manor if you don't have any of the constituent pieces already is a pretty decent set and okay-ish price point wise (I've a chapel I picked up somewhere in the loft to do one day) - if you want less Sigmar embellishment you can do a bit of carving. The walls and fences in particular are a good staple, I've a few sets myself somewhere over on my terrain thread and there was a recent discussion on walls and fences I think Michael kicked off.

Yeah, I plan to do quite a bit of work to the manor to make it less OTT and naff. I did debate making one from scratch, I will decide once I have had a proper look at it.

Scratch built is always better than GW Id say, but what's your hobby work load like? Could be quicker to just convert the plastic kit. That frees up time to paint more models.
