I love the style! Really great. :)

You used an airbrush for painting?

Basecoated the whole building black, then airbrushed the walls and drybrushed the foundation wall and timbers. I swear by the airbrush for large, flat surfaces ;)

An inspirational piece of great building. Any more projects in the same vein planned?

Lots of plans but I doubt if even 10% will come to fruition. Just had my second child and my first is now old enough to move into what has hitherto been my hobby room/man-cave:

...which means no time or space. But I'll find a way ;)

Looks fantastic, would love to play some warhammer with such terrain!

In my opinion, scenery can make or break the whole gaming experience. So I always try and do the most of the modelling projects I start. Even a flat and fairly boring game mat can become an evocative battlefield with a decent building or piece of terrain on it:

Amazing scenery you have there. Do you have any pics of that barn in the background?
Wait........thats not a copy of 3rd ed someone is reading its a modern thingy.......

I noticed but didn't want to comment on the big red book thing...

You're absolutely right about the scenery. I think it's just like painted minis VS unpainted or scenario Vs simple straight fight. Every single drop of energy and time you spend on terrain, painting , writing comes back 10 times when playing. It really is a whole. I think e new scenery session is not far away now. Thanks for the inspiration.

That is my friend Alexander with his heretic tome of evil. I have since disowned him.

So true!

I feel your pain with having to relocate the hobbyspace. That transition spurred me to start finishing my garage.
Insulation is next on the menu; high in fiber, but itchy. ;)

Absolutely fantastic work. Nothing else to say than that. The attention to detail is really impressive. Good job!
