Man O'War plastic mast sizing

While I can't say I'm really interested in Man o'war on the whole... I've ended up picking up a model while I was getting some other bits and It'll probably arrive by the end of the week. It's a metal model and looks to be complete Apart from the plastic mast set which came with alot of the different boats/ships they released. I got a picture of it from lostminis but I'm wondering about the size of them. I know little of this game but though the model looked nice enough and would go with some bits.. even if not in any real gaming sense.

the Masts are pretty generic all being the same but I got a few ideas of what I can do for Replacements and yeah.. I know I can wait till it turns up to check the hole sizes and stuff but.. I like to be a bit prepared ^_^ So just wondering about what the sizes are
 
Wow. It is many moons since I've seen a table with that game in progress. There was a gaming store across town that had some players but nothing in the stores I frequented. No idea on the mast size. How is the model? Good quality?
 
Looks a good model but I can't say that I'm that interested in the game. I believe you needed fleets of 1,000 pts each and 1 model does not a fleet make ^_^

Looks like the main mast diameter was 1.8mm. The little rope section they had on them for decoration take that out to 2.2mm. Second hand sprues are about £10+

The cross pieces were various lengths to account for wider sails and so forth. They start out at about 1.2mm in the centre and go down to 0.7mm at the ends. Again they have 'rope' detailing which adds some diameter in places, seems to be about 0.4mm extra, something of that order.

I need to (re) collect a few more ships so I can host some games. Loved the game back in the day and have my Elf ships, but everything else is off with the sibling. I did managed to get a copy of the game however not that long ago ago. Alas generally quite expensive second hand still.
 
yeah, looks a bit pricey. I'm pretty sure from the photo I got I can easily make printable versions of them but I doubt I'll use that (but might be a bit of fun ^_^). Since all ships appear to use the same masts, that does kinda remove alot of flavour from different races... though even if you do ignore the fact that most likely, one race came up with ships and the others copied, you do have Convergent evolution to deal with so it's not a major issue. But I'll do something with more style ^_^ Hopefully I'll have it by Friday and I'll show off bits. not that it's some big secret but I do love a bit of a fun game like not revealing for a bit extra. It was part of an order which ... is meant to arrive between today and Thursday but today does appear a bit fast.
