Making a Venator Head for an Asslessman

You're right, I tend to forget that I could use more yellow. I actually tried a 50/50 milliput and GS mix and it was fantastic to work with for this purpose, only thing is the curing time seems to be twice the longer curing time of both mediums.
Thicker mould is the way to go too I amdit but for some small details it doesn't change much. I generally try to stick little nosepick like balls of GS I force into the details an dthen I add smaller balls little by little just to be sure. The result is stille not up to my expectations though but I will try your way.

I would not bother trying to put balls of GS into the details, this might even be counter productive and may lead to air pockets or seams where GS meets GS. All you need is sufficiently yellowish GS and it will get into the details when you press it into the relatively thick siligum mould. I tend to place the GS into the mould in a pointed sausage into the deepest detail first to chase out the potential air pockets.

you must be right, your pics indicate you know what you do, copie dparts on my table indicate I do not

On a graphic note, while it is delicate to comment on a work I have not seen in real, I think the new cheekbones are slightly larger in comparison than the previous ones which makes the face look shorter than before. It does look moe realistic on one hand and it will make brilliant henchmen but on another hand it gets further form the original concept (which has a very long face) than 1 or 2 steps before. You must understand I find them marvellous and terribly exciting but I got this impression (which may be wrong). (is there a way not to be awkward when you try to comment details on the work someone graciously offers ?)

Yeah they ended up getting larger in my attempt to rectify the earlier poorer quality work :oops, c'est la vie! I could add more onto the chin but the size is big enough as it is. For some time I have thought that I might have to reboot that specific head for the gang leader, because I now realise that I have grown in skill enough to get much closer to the original concept art.

As you say, this head is good as the basis for some good henchmen so I think it best to focus on that exact thing and get enough heads created to help you make a small gang of them and get some velocity on this project.

That's what I thought. To be honest the idea has never been to replicate the drawing excatly but the feeling of it. My venators will have wrist attached pip-boys and more martial clothes so this is more of an interpretation. Having diversity and velocity is definitely more my kind of view (seems it is another common point between us).
