lost minis

I'm seeing both Stuff of Legends and Lost Mini Wiki and a sampling of pages tested. I'm Facebook friends with Richard, at least. (We're not close, but we've met once or twice at events.) I'll send him a message and see what he says about Eric mirroring the site. (Good idea.) Is it possible I'm seeing things that you aren't because of location filters? I'm presently logging on from Vietnam for what it's worth. And I usually set my VPN to the US, though I don't consistently use it, since I'm on the family's private network or my own hotspot most of the time. Thoughts?

Next to India and Romania, I think Vietnam is one of the top data thief/harvester countries right now. And I'm really trying to stop making the one comment cause.. it's too off topic and... yeah..

^I think the problem is that Cambodia is next door and crime leaks across the border. But anyway, it is what it is and it's honestly not a bad place. Just . . . use your VPN I guess.

^^I do have a VPN. Vietnam blocks too many sites itself for me to want to surf without one anyway. Or at least they used to. Haven't checked to see if they still do. It's just habit now.

Looks like the UK is going after banning VPN use now, which I thought it would. It's all under the "won't somebody think of the children!" banner of course, after their last attempt at "prove your age/let us link you to dodgy sites" was laughably easy to get around using a VPN and ironically (but totally predictably) made children less safe.

^They should ask Netflix how well VPN bans go. My own state recently passed an age verification law similar to the UKs, so I travel to the next state ever for five minutes every now and then. I suppose they'll probably try the VPN ban next, but if China and Netflix can't beat them I doubt Missouri and the UK will have much more success.

without going into too much info cause it's ... mm. I'm not derailing right now, yay ^_^;
I don't use VPNs myself, one thing I don't like is how unsafe they are. Okay, it's not safe NOT using them in a way but the fact of how they try to claim super safe by instead of a direct connection, you send your data via a third party, which gets hacked every once in a while. So it's kinda a case of I don't like how dishonest they are... also I kinda have a thing with I might not 100% agree with it, but I understand why some things are geolocked (like If I buy the rights to show a TV show in the UK, I can do it online but with a UK geolock) and illgeally bypassing this to watch it outside of the UK is kinda taking money from the creators of such tv show.. I just have some ethical issues there and the fact that pretty much ALL VPN companies are pretty scummy about the issue. If you want to bypass that all, I'm not gonna hold it against you. It's just the VPN companies saying "We aren't scummy, pay us money to copy your data and screw content creators!" which just rubs me the wrong way. If you are going to steal stuff, admit it. Be honest and I have no problem with you. Just don't try to tart it up and claim how you are doing the noble thing. Sigh..

Sorry, bit of rant ^_^ same thing with most (if not all) MPs.. claiming they are doing something for one reason when they are just lying and doing it for a completely different reason.
