Life has been very difficult the last year.

It's all a bit shit and I haven't painted since March.

This also impacted on my desire and head space to run www.oldschoolminiatures.co.uk.

So I pulled myself up and today I undercoated a few minis, relaunched oldschool miniatures on instagram (another long story) and finally released properly the hand weapon goblins and these Trolls

Kev always wants to go big - I try and try to keep him small but I took my eye off him on these so they are in Resin. Metal would have resulted in minis costs 3-4x what I have them up for. My aim is to get the back log out the the way and try and cajole the goblin master into more sculpting in the late autumn

damn. always a pain when life goes really badly. Hope things start to improve as much as they can. (lost an uncle to Cancer not long ago, and a second cousin (19 years old) died of... not quite sure what yet) a few weeks back.

Keep going with it all mate, we all need some distractions in life to be able to operate and cope, especially if things are tough.

Go at your own pace, spend time with family, friends- those that matter in your close circle. Crafting/modelling and painting will be good for you as both mindfulness and for thinking, in a flow state & also for yourself, as a break, away from running a business.

We are all part of the oldhammer community & of course anyone would want to offer support, empathy and an open ear, anytime.

I'm sorry to hear things have been a struggle. My involvement with the hobby ebbs and flows as life throws it's difficulties, it's been a source of happy memories at some difficult times though. Thanks for opening up and sharing with us on here. As the others say, life can be tough at times and cancer can be the worst. My thoughts are with you.😢
Glad to see you have resolved to carry on, but don’t feel under any pressure. The hobby should be fun and an escape time.
