Lord
I just snagged a sealed citadel colour paint set. What wonderful nostalgic feelings as I tore off the shrinkwrap. I thought I'd include some photos of the contents in case others would enjoy by proxy.
The first thing we see is a "How to Paint" pamphlet. It is very brief, and contains the sort of mostly useless, step-skipping advice typical of the time.
And I figure the time is post-1993, so not terribly old. It comes with two miniatures - a plastic one piece chaos warrior and a space marine. Also a "starter brush" and of course these wonderful paints. I immediately set about using these to paint some squats.
I'm reminded of how much better these paints are than contemporary options. The colors are so vivid. And what this set cost me was far cheaper than buying equivalent modern citadel paints.
