First time I've seen a epid Legion of the Damned force as well. Looks great, really impressive.
All those flames on those tiny minis, you patience is extraordinary.
 
Thanks guys, well I got Space Marine in 1992... Messed about with a few armies and wanted to be different so went to work on this army in the mi 90s, Tbh it go a pain and did get fed up and sacked it haha last night I started to paint a few more of them up. Got about 10 more detachments to do grrrrr :/
 
The vindicators are great. They are really boring models (but for some reason I still love them!) but you used it to your advantage and made them interesting.

Found these guys lastnight, whats worst than painting 40k stealers? Painting Epic stealers haha
 
Nice job here.
I had epic Legion of the Damned but not as nice as these. I should try and find them some day, and paint some more up. Consider me inspired!
 
Guys thanks for the comments, gutted I never got round to finishing it, I started to strip apart my Space Wolfe army for these guys too.

Very nice stuff. Some very tiny details. You must have a steady hand.

I did not know legion of the damned even existed in 1994. Thought they were a recent invention. Just goes to show what i know...
 
Thank you for your comments mate, Legion of the Damned actually went back to around 89/90 iirc... Sure i have an old white dwarf showing them. The Fire Angel Chapter (if i remember correctly) later became the Legion of the Damned.
