... and lots of miniatures.



mr. big tong had a stall and has sculpted some squats with aks, so i bought a few.



i also picked up some bits for my goblinoids from the charity sale. i thought this completed this army, but after getting home realised i need another wolf, which is annoying since there were several chronicles miniatures ones going, which would have been ideal.



finally i was given a couple of ork related things by another far coprfe: bugs! player, @Sprue_Goblin_Games, i think.

In this case I expect "gundam" can be taken as code for "giant anime robot thing." So are you saying the "NotaGundams" are the cops in far Corfe? I'm a bit cornfused here. But it looks like an exceptionally fun kind of confusion.

so Gundam as in NOT based on the show(s) in the Gundam series, or with Robots with the same style or type, but just generic Giant Robots reguardless of size, type etc ^_^ fair enough. Though I might cause a fuss if anyone refers to my Dai-X as a Gundam. Them fighting words.

Hybrid do some that are vaguely inspired by the original. L72 have a Gripper-Ripper. Yours looks closer to the original design than those, but a bit bigger.

They were Patlabor and the owner was playing them as annoying “by the books or you get shot” coppers! (That’s why my unlicensed limo was shot down…)

^This must be some kind of UK political joke that I'm not quite getting. But okay, they were the law. The very Japanese law. (I am going to have nightmares about giant Japanese robots enforcing laws which are by degrees both arbitrary and capricious.)

I like Masamune Shirow (not his real name)'s work. It's been sitting for years with bits of work every so often but still mostly unpainted but I have 28mm scaled Bonaparte I made (I'll admit, 3D designed, some time back by me). What is that? well.. In his series 'Dominion' (more of the original then the remake he did later) it was set in japan but kinda parody the USA I find where "Oh, criminals are soo bad, we need to give the cops guns", which of course led to the Criminals getting guns, and after a while, the created the Tank Police. a Division of the police where the have armoured tanks. Bonaparte is a small 2 person mini-tank created by the main character, Leona. which of course, being in the USA, I think you might know that the USA police kinda have divisions with pretty much tanks these days.
