wasn't Meta the second moon? the one that Jeff Tracy was the first man to land on and was caught in Earth Orbit after the Nuclear explosion which knocked the moon out of Earth Orbit back in 1999?

Sorry.. Don't mean to go off topic but.. just felt like I wanted to say this ^_^

The event page is public, so you “should” be able to view it?
If not, these are the details:
Crookes Social Club

Lead & Steel is back for another year. Come along to play old-school GW games and meet others who play them too. Play in "Far Corfe" our participation game, book yourself a table and bring along your own favourite game from back in the day and enter the painting competition for the chance to win prizes from some of our fantastic sponsors.

Does that mean you're thinking of going, Mr Moon?
i'm certainly thinking about it. are you?

thank you. yes, i can see that much.
however, i was wondering about: probable finish time; cost of entry; do i need to bring figures etc. to participate in the far corfe game; if so, is far corfe fantasy or sci-fi, and what figures would be most suitable? how many figures? is far corfe running all day? what other games are going on? how do i book onto them?
there are probably other considerations that have passed me by at the moment.

Kind of. Last time I took a massive game and got some fun people to join in. But it took me a couple of hours to set up. And a couple of hours to pack away, which meant I trapped the staff in the shop long after everyone else had left. It is of course unavoidable as only I know how to pack all the figures and regiments away in this box and that box. If I did it again I think I would have to prepare a smaller game. Maybe a Warhammer fantasy role play skirmish sort of game? (Dictating on my phone so hopefully I haven't made loads of mistakes o
