GG 2026 Kegox for Golden Goblin

[Willmark]

I’ve been a bit of a lull painting despite scoring some long sought after pieces I’m hoping this will help.

Also the weather is starting to turn where I live in the Colonies so that helps: basically once the snow starts flying you’re largely homebound until April.

Next post kicks it off.

Kegox the Multi-headed Dragon- Part 1
This guy was NOT on my radar but while watching one of the London football games (that’s American football) I was reminded I was watching an eBay posting of him.

Let’s get it out of the way: pricy, but what made it worth while? Aside from the model being complete the original box, with ancient masking tape on it along with the instructions. Nice!

After the vagaries of Pitney Bowes for shipping he finally made it to my doorstep after numerous days of it displaying “in transit.”

Now, I’ve being eBaying for decades and this is the finest packing job I’ve ever seen! Bar none!

Kegox the Multi-headed Dragon- Part 2
Now how do we know he came from the UK? Well aside from the labyrinthian transport process?

There were signs, namely some of the internal packing cardboard:

And now the initial part you’ve been waiting for (get on with it you silly Yank!)

Kegox himself:

Ah.. the Kevin Peat dragon.... back when Citadel did bloody nice stuff (Nick Bibby Dragon) and used it to raise money for a good cause. wonder how that turned out in the end (I know Kevin died)

I've a bit ahead than these photos, but here is the two headed beast primed and with his base layer of green and washed.
